Photo Story and Movie review

Greek Week was a lot of fun to cover. I know a lot of the people already so everyone was comfortable with me taking photos. There are so many activities that go on during Greek Week that I was only able to sufficiently cover the women's greek week. Men do many other activities. I wanted to get the spirit aspect and and the sports aspect. Many people get highly involved in Greek Week and at time it can become very competitive. Greek Week is about showing SFA spirit and letting everyone know that Greeks do more than party or sit around and do their nails and hair. Greek Week is about unity between fraternal organizations.

Movie Reviews
I did not get to see very much of the "Under Fire" movie but I think I would have liked that one the best. It was about a photojournalist out on assignment. I thin it would have been the most enlightening.

"All the President's Men" was very good. I am interested in politics so a journalism movie with politics involved was good. I think it portrayed that in order to be a good jounalist, you have to have an interest in what you are reporting about, but in order to be a jounalist that made a difference, you have to be agressive in your reporting. I liked the part where the two main characters were going door-to-door trying to find someone who would talk to them and they got the door slammed on their face over and over but yet they kept going.

"We Were Soldiers" was very good. The focus was not really on the jounalist himself, but on the soldiers. The movie portrayed the journalist as fearless and determined. These two qualities are what makes a great jounalist. He wanted the truth so badly, he was going to put his life at risk. This was my favorite of the movies that I saw.
